Inflation: How prices for everyday items have gone up over the past 12 months | Economic news

Inflation in the UK has soared to double digits for the first time in more than four decades.

Consumer Price Index (CPI) Inflation climbed to 10.1% in the 12 months to July, according to the Office for National Statistics (ONS).
